How HydroSip filters
your drinking water.

Each stage has a job. The prefilters protect the membrane, the membrane reduces dissolved solids, and the final carbon filter finishes the taste.

Under-sink reverse-osmosis system and storage tank with a dedicated drinking-water faucet above — HydroSip’s sediment and carbon prefilters, RO membrane, and final carbon filter.

SEDIMENT PREFILTER

Catch particles first.

Captures suspended dirt, sand, and rust before they reach the carbon filter and membrane.

CARBON BLOCK

Remove chlorine before the membrane.

Reduces chlorine taste and odor while protecting the membrane from chlorine damage.

REVERSE-OSMOSIS MEMBRANE

Reduce what is dissolved in the water.

Pressure pushes water through a semipermeable membrane. Dissolved salts and other rejected substances leave through a separate drain stream.

POST-CARBON FILTER

Finish the taste at the faucet.

A final carbon stage polishes the taste of the water delivered from the storage tank to your dedicated drinking-water faucet.

Installation and ongoing care

Our team reviews the installation space and plumbing, starts up the system, and explains the maintenance schedule for your equipment. Production and performance depend on feed-water conditions and maintenance.
